That is so amazing that such a big comppany would take notice in a small thing like that. It makes me feel comforted to know they still care about their company and all the fans...I am always afraid that one day they're going to become a cheap chains store that would be found in Toys R Us (No ofense to Toys R Us, it's a great store, but doesn't quite compare to AG!)

How cute and very thoughtful! I know that it's not the same level of customer service that it once was (that I missed!), but overall I have been very happy with American Girl.
After all it is giant Mattel, so I think they are definately trying to keep AG seperate and maintain some of personalized service.
